Privacy policy

1. Cookie Policy

1.1. About cookies
Websites use clever and useful techniques to improve their user-friendliness and make them as engaging as possible for every visitor. One of the best-known techniques involves the use of cookies. Website owners or third parties, such as advertisers who advertise on the website you are visiting, use cookies.

Cookies are small text files that websites store on users’ computers. The information contained in cookies may also be used to track your browsing activity across various websites that use the same cookie.

Cookies are categorised according to their duration and who sets them.

We believe it is important to inform you about the cookies used by our website and the purposes for which they are used. The aim of this information is threefold – we want to ensure your privacy, convenience and the development of our website as effectively as possible. This policy provides further information about the cookies used on our website and the purposes for which they are used.

2. How „UAB LTF Group” and/or its subsidiaries and brand websites use cookies
„UAB LTF Group” uses cookies to collect statistical data on visitors and to record information about your preferences whilst you browse our websites. The purpose of our use of cookies is to improve your experience as a visitor to the website.

3. Cookies and their functions
Different types of cookies are used for different purposes.
Below is a list of the most common types of cookies, along with an explanation of what they are used for.

3.1. Session cookies
A session cookie is temporarily stored in your computer’s memory whilst you are browsing a website, for example, to track which language you have selected. Session cookies are not stored on your computer’s memory for long; they are always deleted when you close your web browser.

3.2. Persistent or tracking cookies
A persistent cookie is stored on your computer for a long period of time; this type of cookie has an expiry date. Persistent cookies help websites to remember your information and settings for future visits. This makes access quicker and more convenient, as, for example, you do not need to log in again.

Once the cookie has expired, it is automatically deleted when you return to the website that created it.

3.3. Cookies on websites you visit
They are set by the website itself (the same domain as shown in the browser’s address bar) and can only be read by that website. These cookies are typically used to store information such as your preferences, so that they can be applied when you visit the website again.

3.4. Third-party cookies
They are identified by different names (domains) displayed in the browser’s address bar, i.e. not the owners of the websites being visited.

These cookies, for example, are used to collect information for advertising and personalised content. Third-party cookies may also be used to collect statistical data. .

As third-party cookies can be used to create more comprehensive surveys of users’ browsing habits, they are considered more intrusive for visitors, and so most web browsers allow you to adjust your settings to block third-party cookies.

3.5. Flash cookies
„Flash” cookies (local shared objects) are pieces of data that websites using „Adobe Flash” can store on your computer.

„Flash” cookies are a new way of tracking your browsing activity and storing more information about you than is possible with standard cookies. One of the main drawbacks of Flash cookies is that you cannot find them in your browser. They do not appear in the list of cookies that you see when you view the cookies currently stored in your web browser. Standard HTTP cookies cannot store more than 4 kilobytes of data, whilst Flash cookies can store up to 100 kilobytes.

„The technical design of Flash cookies is similar to that of other cookies. Almost all web browsers include a Flash player, which is used to display Flash presentations. One well-known example of a Flash presentation is the video player on the YouTube video website. (Flash cookies are not limited to YouTube; they apply to all websites that use Flash cookies.)

„Flash cookies do not have an expiry date. They will remain until they are deleted.

3.5.1. How to disable Flash cookies
You cannot block or manage Flash cookies in your browser, as they are stored elsewhere – in the General Storage Settings panel of the Adobe website’s online settings manager.

The Settings Manager can be accessed via the Adobe website, but it runs locally on your computer. The Web Storage settings show all Flash cookies currently stored on your computer. You can delete Flash cookies from individual websites or all at once. You can also increase or decrease the total size, in kilobytes, of all the information stored on your computer.

„Flash cookies will not be stored if you go to the general storage settings and disable the option ”Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer„.

If you want to disable Flash cookies on individual websites, you can do so in the settings manager.

You can also adjust your settings so that your browser rejects all cookies or only third-party cookies. Similarly, you can delete cookies that have already been stored on your computer. Please note that you will need to adjust the settings separately for each browser and computer you use.

Please note that if you do not accept cookies, we cannot guarantee that our website will function properly. Some website features may be lost and you may no longer be able to view certain websites.
